Hello Dippers
It’s me again.
This time to tell you about Winnie Bowlas Memorial Rosebowl Saturday
10th July 2010 between 5.30pm and 7pm.
This is the first year Dippers has been invited to compete in this
event and we’re really looking forward to it. It's a Novelty Relay
Gala for Novice swimmers only hosted by Stockport Swimming Club at
Cheadle Leisure Centre.
As you will see from the attached list of Events the regular events
are Freestyle and Medley. Please note Butterfly is swum in the
medley event by 11 and 12 years old only. 8,9 and 10 years old do
not swim butterfly. In addition there's also Balloon relay, Rings
relay and T-Shirt relay for each age group. This is a real fun
gala.
Note also there's no diving. It's feet first. And it’s widths of
pool not lengths. Therefore we are looking for a team of boys and
girls aged up to 12 on the day. We need between 4 and 6 of each sex
in each age group. There are 3 age groups;
1/ 8 years and under
2/ 9-10 years and
3/ 11-12 years
There's a list on notice board at the leisure centre. Please place
