The Dippers enjoyed much success at the annual
Tadpoles gala held recently at the Grand Central swimming pool in
Stockport. Overall the team came seventh in the event but this
position was skewed due to the points scoring system which favoured
the bigger teams (as they had many more swimmers in lower positions
who all scored points that counted to the team total and therefore
final placement).
Individually each member of the Dippers team (pictured below)
brought home a trophy, medal or ‘speeding ticket’ and two of them,
Olivia Archibald (Age 9) and Hannah Hatton (Age 12) were the overall
top swimmers in their age category.
Well done to everyone.
We will give much more advance notice of next years event and so
hopefully will take a larger team.
